Default Radio stopped

I had to change my battery and after the change my radio stopped working.
It shows the word "OFF" and no button will work.
Anybody knows how to get around this problem?
Thanks

You need to leave the key in the ACC. position for 2-3 hours till it says code. Then you will have to install the code for the radio.

Thank you for the answer but how do I know the code?
I remember, right after I installed the new battery, it did say "Code" but I had no idea what the code was so I started to push buttons and this is when it turned to "OFF"
Thanks again

The code may be in you owners manuel on a card. If not, you may have to go to the dealer to have them look it up.

I've got the same problem but I put the code that I found in the manual in and it still comes up OFF. Any ideas, maybe I have the wrong code? Thanks.
