readiness monitors wont turn on
i really need your help asap please and thank you i have a 1998 volvo v70 awd turbo .....i just got it recently as a gift but i can smog it because the monitors are not set to ready it used to be parked for many years with a dead battery ...so the radio says "off" (do you think the radio has something to do with the monitors) i only have three.... misfire, fuel trim and comprehensive

Hi and welcome to the forum.
The radio has nothing to do with the cars system being ready for emissions/OBD2 testing.
The car has to complete the drive cycle. Unfortionately these Volvo's have the longest of any car that I have heard of.
