Hello, I am looking to replace the rear speakers in my 1999 S70 and was wondering what would be best out of the two options and which would have the least amount of car altering or fabricating?

I know the size of the deck's speakers are 8" but its hard to find aftermarket 8" speakers. My first option is to buy 8" Subwoofers which i wouldnt mind, however i would have to purchase an amp to go along with these and i really want to keep the cost down to a minimum. My second option is to install 6x9 or 4x6 Speakers.

Does anyone have any suggestions to what i should do?

 

If you want to "keep the cst down" leave the ones that are there. Other than that, put in what sounds the best to you, that is what counts.
