Recommendation for Replacement Tires
That's right and the higher the speed rating and performance the softer the tread compound and the higher the wear rate. I only managed 25K miles on the original V speed rated Michelins that were original equipment on my blue 98.
I also have the BF Goodrich Traction T/A's. I always have been, and always will be a BFG man. They are solid tires, and don't mind the low mileage warranties, they are not accurate. There is a reason for that too. Dang kids!
I put on BFGoodrich Traction T/A's on my 98 S70 last December. Best tires I have ever had on the car in the eight years I have owned it. Previously had Bridgestone somethings and Goodyear Eagles (nice at first, did not last). Great traction even in heavy snow, quiet and not too expensive.
i have nokian all seasons. they came with my car and they seem pretty good. i can't tell how noisy they are though because i have loud wheel bearings
