okay sorry for all the amateur questions but im a retard when it comes to this stuff so bear with me.

do i need to get new tires if i get new rims? i measured the ones i have now and they are 16" (inside gas thing had like 195/60R15 and i have no idea what that means). im guessing id have to but im not sure.

If your are 16's and you buy 16's then no. But your tires have the size on them. It will look like 205/55/16 the 16 is 16 inch rims if it was 205/55/15 it would be 15 inch rims.
