Rough starting, when warm.. Sometimes
I have a 99 volvo s70 base model that is giving me a strange problem. Sometimes when the car is good and warm after being driven around some, then turned off for a few minutes, when restarting the car it runs SUPER rough. It feels like its missing on all the cylinders randomly kind of rough. It will do this for about 10-30 seconds and then almost instantly clear up and run perfectly fine until finished driving. I have no engine codes so I am not real sure where to start. I did have some codes but I got them all cleared up with new O2 sensors and spark plugs. It was doing this before I made those changes as well so I dont think its related. It is intermittent as well. It happens maybe once every 5 times the car is stopped and restarted when warm. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
My first car (a Chevy) used to do this. In that case it was caused by some dirty gas leaving a bunch of sediment in the tank/lines/injectors.
Might be a bit of a wild goose chase, but maybe you're due for a new fuel filter anyway and it might help.
