S button on S70?
I use it al the time, it seems a bit quicker than just on economy. What does it exactly do? I wanna know if someone has actually tested it on a track or something to see if it really accelerates faster. Also has someone seen the mpg difference in using the S button?
i believe s botton starts the car from the first gear and shifts with a higher rpm's. when e bottom starts from a second gear and has lower rpm's for gas savings. at least thats what i heard from youtube
i'm currently testing my 850 R to see if I can tell the difference in gas milage but other than that, the S mode for the transmission causes the car to shift later, allowing the engine to rev a little more for a sportyier acceleration. My 960 got 1 or 2 mpg difference but I typically do not drive with a heavy foot. S feels a lot funier.
