Huh? If you take the car to a compident mechanic you have no need to ask this question here. They will not start messing with fuel pump wires trying to figure out what's wrong with the AC. And the last thing you want to do is try to go in there acting like you are going to tell them what to do and how to do it. You will get more out of mechanics and any other people if you stroke their ego or simply leave them alone to do their job.
Now if you are asking this question so you don't get taken advantage of, get a mechanic referral. Then let them know you were referred. Other than that, find a mechanic you can trust.
If the system is blowing a fuse you likely have a compressor that is locked up when engaged, a bad clutch, or some kind of switch that is bad.

The main issue with AC problems is this, if any component that requires the system to be breached has to be replaced, a professional will require the dryer and some switch to be replaceded. The system has to be vacuumed down and reserviced properly. Most AC repairs range between $350 and $1,100. The low side is if the compressor is good.

Dear rspi, i took the car to an electrician and they traced the cable that is connected to the compressor up to the brain box for possible bridging and they pulled on the cable from one end, tapped some loose cables on the main fuse box from under and the problem stopped. Right now the ac is back to life. Thanks for your interest in anything that concerns my S70.
