actually on youtube there are tons of motorweek videos from all the way into the early 90s and late 80s so i thought it could be a possibility.

 

Actually, there is a video. A little while ago I was looking for motor trend/car and driver type written reviews/comparo tests done from back in the day. I love that stuff.

There is a video available on YouTube. It was a video that shows the new 1998 S70 GLT and it is a comparo against a loaded up Sable (lol) and a Buick Regal GS (3.8 Supercharged Series II) It didn't focus a whole lot on specifics but it is still a worthwhile watch.

You should be able to find it with a few key words.

I'm surprised anything as for reviews can be found prior to 2000. I have some old VHS tapes of Volvo stuff. Maybe I'll dig them out, convert them and post them one day soon.
