Does anyone know how to get all four doors to open using the car keys? I have a 1998 S70.

Right now, my 4 doors won't open when I turn the key to the left twice. I don't have the remote.

 

it is in the drivers door lock module. only way to fix it is to replace it.

Is that the only way to reset the alarm function on a 1998 S70?

Is the drivers door lock module the same as the door latch actuator ?

I don't think so and that is usually the problem with the S/V70's. Each door has it's own door latch actuator that the little motor inside gets to weak to unlock/lock the latch with the others. The only way to fix the problem is to replace the latch assembly. Those things are expensive . I have not figured out a way to tell if the ones in junked cars are new or not.

 

yes module, actuator, same thing.

NOT THE SWITCH WITH ALL THE BUTTONS.
