Default S70 rear caliper problem

This might be hard to explain. Just purchased 2 retech rear calipers from fcp. Went to install them but noticed where the metal fluid hose connects to the old caliper looks a little different than the new one. With the old one, the hose connects directly to the caliper with the flared end and nut. The new caliper has something different already screwed in where the line goes (a bolt with a horizontal hole going through thread area). I was gonna unscrew it and try connecting the brake line directly to it like the old one but didn't want to screw it up or end up crossing the threads. Anyone come across this?

it may just be a shipping plug. Hyd. compontents sometimes ship with plugs to stop hyd fluid from leaking out . Sometimes hyd items have a little hyd fluid in them to stop the o-rings from drying out during storage.
