S70 T5M possible purchase, advice
Hey guys,
I've been looking for something better on gas than my Jeep and something that would still be fun to drive. After a lot of searching and waiting I finally found a '98 S70 T5 5 speed with about 137k miles. I went and drove it today, and while it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be I was impressed. It seemed kind of laggy until I really got on it then it flew, is this just me? The dealer was also a certified volvo technician and the timing belt, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, MAF sensor(i think, can't remember) and upper strut mounts or something had recently been replaced. Would you say this is an ok deal for $5k? The only thing that really makes me nervous is the cost of labor and parts on these cars. I had to give up on my 5 speed 850 because of too many problems that kept popping up.
