S70 Transmission Problems
Currently I have had some disaster with my 2000 VOLVO S70 GLT/SE.
The Check Engine light popped on and sure enough it was a reoccurring engine code P0455 (Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected) . On my way back home, the car would not stay in gear. When it wouldn't catch, it would only rev and was not able to get it to shift into drive or reverse (Its an automatic transmission). By turning off the car and back on I could get it to go into gear. Luckily I could get home but hardly.
The fluid was just changed a couple months ago. Right now the fluid is dark and smelling of burnt fluid.
Does anyone have any insight or thoughts on what to do first?
