Unhappy S70 trying to stall when accellerating... ?

This just started a few days ago... at the stoplight, step on the gas pedal when the light turns green, and the car - hesitates, or stutters for a few seconds, as if it's about to stall. Running smooth otherwise.

I heard through the sneaker network that a neighbor (has the same make and model) reportedly heard of a recall or tech bulletin on this, but Google came up empty. Any ideas?

Been a great second car, otherwise (once eww resolved the headlanp faults).

thanks for comments, thoughts, and especially suggestions!

Default Trace: 1999 fwd = recall, but '98's aren't included

After reading a lot on the internet today, I am hoping it's not the infamous Volvo ETM recall (that covered all Volvo S70s, except my 1998!). Google "VEXEDvolvo" read it and weep.

After twenty years, I am 100% positive that my 1988 240D will be "alive and kicking" long after my 1998 S70 been crushed and recycled.
