Got a problem with my S70, can't turn the alarm off, alarm doesn't sould but blinker flashing and the car woouldn't start. Remote doesn't work anymore, I unlock the doors with the keys and it still doesn't turn off the alarm, so I had to disconnect the battery. How do I disconnect the alarm from under the hood, or how do I turn off the alarm?

 

IMM preventing you from starting the car?

 

Connect the battery and lock and unlock the door with the key. If that doesn't reset the system, you may be able to get by it by removing the relay. The control box for the remote is behind the glove box on 850's so it's likely there on S70's as well.

I think you'll have to get it off before you can disable it.
