S80 to S70
Hey.
so ive owned a 1999 S80 for two years now and i absolutely love the car. I have many many problems with it and even as im getting rid of it not everything is perfect with the S80 but i still want Volvo. But since i just moved across country from MI to CA i was not able to bring my S80 with me so i am selling it but dont have a very big budget for a new car.
So now that i am in Cali i dont have a large budget but i was looking at 2000 S70 and was wondering if theres anything i should know or any tips would be nice.
Thank guys.

I noticed your S80 was a '99 T-6, and, generally speaking, twin turbos are going to give a few more problems than single - maybe because they've been driven harder. and more parts mean more that can go wrong. But my '05 S80 has never had an issue of any sort (other than the crappy AM radio reception). My '98 S70 has been, hands down, the most troublesome car I've ever owned. Also '98's have a horrible "check engine light' reset problrm/procedure. Me, I'd go with the least miles I could find unless it was ready for a timing belt change(just under 100k). When asked about Volvo purchases I always tell people that records are very important. If car was maintained locally see if you can talk to the shop thats it's been to. If it's been all over the place I'd be leary, myself.
Also the 70 is a different beast than the 80- driving experience quite different in my opinion- you may not like it (or you may prefer it).
