Default Seat heaters

I'm almost embarressed to ask this question, but...

Now that my son goes to school where they have subfreezing temps regularly he could use some electric seat warmers - which his 98 S70 lacks.
Or does Volvo put the heating leements in all seats and you just need the switches? ( there are similar situations on these cars).

Thanks, Don

Hey Don, Volvo's have what is called a "Cold Weather Package". This includes seat heaters, head light wipers, and possibly the track system.

From what I understand, all Volvos are wired for just about all of their options to make it easy to install accessories. So, it may be possible to get a drivers seat, a switch, a relay and have everything you need to heat that drivers seat.

Just a side note, most women love the heated seats.
