radiater hose heaters install?
I am new to this forum however i have owned several volvos,currently a 1988 740 which does not like to start in the cold. we are now getting cold here in central ny and i would like to install one of those plug-in radiater hose heaters to circulate the water and keep it warm. my problem is it seems the lower hose is not low enough,this is the hose from the rad. to the water pump,and the genious at the local auto parts says i'm supposed to remove the starter motor first(what the?) its not even on the same side,anyone have some suggestions? thanks
