Default Snow driving

I am new to the northeast and in turn new to driving in the snow. SoI wanted to know what you guys would suggest in the way of snow tires or chains and other tips that might help me out. Oh and I drive a 98S70 base model. Thanks for your help.

You don't need AWD. I've lived in New England all my life and have never had any problem getting around with FWD and snow tires. Any good set of snows like Bridgestone Blizzaks, Goodyear Ultragrip (I have these), or Michelin X-Ice work just fine.

Get good snow tires and drive like a normal person.

Most people don't know how to drive in the snow and icey bad weather. Not saying you don't, it was a general statement. Just be safe about your driving.
