hello everyone, just bought a 1998 S70 automatic with 111 miles, the speedometer doesn't and the ABS light is on, does anyone know what the problem could be?

 

My bet is bad ABS module.

 

also I forgot to mention, the lower panel, (above the pedals) was removed, does it have to do something with the ABS module?
is there a DIY ?

 

The ABS module is under the hood. Here is a site to show where it is. He rebuilds them. Also in the 850 section there is a post about repairing them. I believe it is in the frequently used threads post.(ABS module cover removal)
