Default Speedometer not working after replacing cv axles

I replaced my CV axles today on my 98 S70 T5 and all went well. However, after replacing them I went for a test drive and noticed my speedometer was not working.

I disconnected the wire connector to the speed sensor on the passenger side as not to damage the wires while moving things around and noticed the metal portion of the connector broke off and I was unable to fix it.

My question is, how can I fix this? Is there a wire replacement kit I can buy or is this something for my mechanic to solve?

All help is greatly appreciated!

Maybe go to a salvage yard, cut off a connector and splice it in?

Replace the sensor and spice in the wires.
