The car is an 98 s70 t5 sometimes when its cold it will spit and sputter and sometimes stall. it runs perfectly fine when the car is warm we know the car needs a thermostat, and we just gave it a full tune up plugs cap rotor wires and the dealership put an o2 sensor 2 months ago. we hooked are obd2 reader up to it and it says random miss fire. thats why we gave it the tune up but that didnt help. any suggestions would be great. I also read alot about checking the hoses which i will do today since its such a good day. thanks alot

If you can check fuel rest pressure.

 

Also clean the IAC

 

after we changed the thermostat it hasnt done it again. so i guess it was the thermo stat making it run to cold by staying open...

I read the forum replies and changed my fuel pump relay (under bonnet with relays). The car is now back to it's old self- so try that. The car would loose power on the freeway intermittently. It would start to drop rev in a line at the lights. When like this it wouldn't drive up hills or on the freeway. I gotten a relay $35 RockAuto (half price of high street)
