i am preparing to rebuild my front suspension(parts are on the way from FPC groton) and while im thinking suspension, i would like to add a strut brace. i am looking for suggestions and reviews please. thank you in advance

 

EST IPD or VIVA Preformance

S70driver did his review on the EST bar.....at the top of this page.
I believe the new ones from EST are carbon fiber?

 

OMP is the best strut brace on the market for Volvo. Hard to come by though. I would steer clear of the IPD Economy strut brace it is CRAP.

The EST one I have is nice and works great!

The one from Viva Performance looks decent. I do know that Volvo actually made one. Go to the dealeship and ask about it.

 

have any of you guys ever heard of/used an OBX Strut Bar?

 

OBX.....that is the ebay store....I heard they are an ok company.

 

yeah, i saw it on ebay. most affordable. i understand that you generally get what you pay for, but how bad can a strut brace get?

 

Weak construction, weak materials used....etc.

I have never used their products, but if you feel like it, get it!

 

FYI don't buy the IPD USA Economy strut brace. It is crap. If you buy it beware it wont do a darn thing for you.
