I have a '98 s70 and when i go over bumps it makes a grinding/poping noise on the driver side. Do you know what this could be and what would fix this? When i go over speed bumps the back end of my car bounces alot would the shocks, springs or both need to be replaced?

 

Check your top strut mounts by bouncing the bumper while the hood is open and watch the top strut mounts
as for the rear it looks like the top shock mounts may be bad
open up the rear area so you can see the shock mounts and bounce the car, the mounts are probably ripped

For God's sake don't put Monroe Sensatrac struts in it. I went through hell with those on my old S70.
