tail light factory defect?
well my light has been saying that i have a light out, and my old man said that i had a tim tail light, so i decieded to fix that this morning, went into my box of replacement bulbs, yanked the assembly out, where theres a rack for 3 bulbs. well there were only 2 in it lol. so i looked up into the trunk lid where the bulbs go into the lense and theres only 2 of 3 holes where the bulbs go into the lense. im like wtf. i looked at the other, had 3 holes for 3 bulbs. so i just pulled the 4 nuts off, yanked it out, took the short walk into the basement and my tail light got the dremel and now im good. idk if anyone has ever had that problem or is it just me? its a factory part, has the manufactured date and everything on it.

Page 24 of the 1998 owners manual : " The rear fog light (located in the driver's side tail light cluster) is considerably brighter than the normal tail lights and should be used only when the atmospheric conditions, such as fog, rain, snow, smoke or dust reduce the daytime or nighttime visibility of other vehicles to less than 500 ft (150 meters).
For the rear fog light to function, the low beam headlights must be switched on.
* By design, there is one rear foglight only, located in the driver's side tail light cluster."
