I have a 1998 S70 base model. Lambda light is on (solid) and up arrow is flashing. Dealership tells me DTC At-3 41 lock up (lock up function slipping and not enguaging). They reccomended starting off with a tranny fluid change; if lambda/up arrow still persists, replace valve body (~$850)...if problem still persists, replace transmission (~#3700).

Is this the same as a P0741 code (Torque converter clutch stuck off)? Could anyone help with recommendations????? Thanks very much in advance....just joined today, this forum is a wealth of info!

 

my car has that problem and its been sitting in my yard for 8 months.

 

The transmisson fluid has been changed; but the same indicator lights came on yesterday (on the highway, so I'm assuming its the TCC stuck off). Any other thoughts? Thanks

 

get it to a shop cause thats the start of it, i kept driving mine and then the trans starts feeling like it slips really bad and then bangs into gear. and at a stop it wont move.

 

some people said its a pnp switch, so i put a new one on, pretty easily went off and on, but did nothing to the driving ability of my car, pretty soon after that i lost reverse and N its stuck in D any gear it is enguaged in D

 

i figure my car needs a new trans so im ordering one from level10, a bullit proof one. with a warranty. and im going HIGH horsepower. i wanna try and make it a drag car

 

Good luck with level10 alot of people have had problems with them.

To the OP not sure maybe it is the valve body.

 

Replaced the valve body 3 days ago...so far no lambda or arrow lights coming on, and still no driveability issues. Will update!!
