Default Trick to get the ABS light off

I found this web site that shows a way to get the ABS light off and keep it off. I hope it helps someone else out. I tried it and it works, I used a piece of plastic that was in a wedge shape and it worked like a charm. Good luck

Wow, that is something else. Not sure if that pressure between the 2 will ever damage another part but that is a quick Jerry rig fix.

I found that a while back - it works for a while, not forever unfortunately.

Take the module off, contact BBA- Reman, and have them rebuild it. Costs about $60, and they guarantee it for life. Yeah, the shim- it fix works for a little while, but eventually, the connections wear further and the problem will come back again.

So the theory is the vibrations from ABS pump are causing module malfunctions?

Not exactly. Sometimes wires break loose at the solder joint to board. The proper fix is to resolder them, but the wedgie works (sometimes) by putting pressure on the connector and pushing the wire into solid contact with the board. I guess the vibrations might cause intermitent contact/loss of contact but the real culprit is just a crappy soldering job.
