I am really agitated. tried to shim my compressor and I couldnt get the clutch off the freakin car.

I tried screwdrivers but didnt budge.

really po'd

I did the zip tie method but would take it apart next time.

They can be a pain to do. I have done some with them fully mounted. Others I have had to take apart and then use a puller. But did not open the A/C system. I just unbolted it from the motor.

I couldnt get the compressor situated I dont think to use a puller but I didnt have one. I am shocked I was able to get it all back together and the damn thing still worked at all.

I was afraid I was going to worp the clutch or something trying to get it off. at one point the pulley on the comp didnt fully spin around. I kept bending my 3 little 5mm screws I had placed in there as well to keep it all still.

all in all I wasted 4 hrs for nothing.

I had zip ties in hand but I couldnt find the article discussing that and I have all but decided to go to yard tomorrow and look at a compressor there and see how bad it is. its off a newer car. maybe it is in better shape. wont cost much.

this heat is about to be too much and I cant tell when the ac is going to work or not. its random seems like now. used to be only when I stomped on gas

Air was really cold this am. But now not working.
