Default Trunk problem

I’m having a weird problem with closing my trunk, the temp this past week stayed below freezing for 3 or 4 days. While I was warming my 2000 S70 up the other morning (it was around 15 degrees F), I went to open my trunk to get my ice scraper. I pulled the release and it popped like normal but when I lifted the door, it didn’t stay up (it’s done this before). I pushed it back open, like I’ve done before, but this time I heard a pop. I tried to close it when I was done and I heard another pop, now my trunk is stuck open. It literally doesn’t move when I try to close it. What should I do?

Seems like you locked the trunk system. speay some grease on it the pull the release again( to my knowledge the trunk was on a switch (US market here)

Check the lifts to make sure one is not stuck/broken.
