Default v70 keys 1999

Hello, 3rd volvo here, and I just bought a 99 s70 and it has 3 keys that will start the car, but not open it and 1 good fob and one bad fob and a strange dual axis key. How can I get the doors to open by the key? I have done a good bit of reading tonight and found that is seems to be controlled by the drivers side lock, how can this be fixed?

here is a shot of the dual axis key. I do not yet have a manual for this car that would probably answer my questions.

I found in another thread that the door latch mechanism has a stem like protrusion that has to go inside a pocket in the lock actuator. This is accessed by removing the 2 t30 bolts that hold the door catch mechanism to the door and removing a rubber plug from the door to look through. Then you use a small screwdriver to guide the stem into the hole and then replace the 2 t30 bolts. I did all this and now the key won't move the 90 degrees like it did before, leading me to believe that the door actuator mechanism is bad , misadjusted, or in a bind. its looking like Im going to have to take the door panel off from the inside to see what is going on. I am going to make a trip to the junkyard soon a look for a few parts.

Taking the door panel off is not hard and is the best way to go to see exactly what you are dealing with.
