Default VIBRATION S70

Hi, yet another issue here! 1999 S70 NON-TURBO AUTOMATIC 153,000 plus miles>Okey, I had my compressor replaced at the dealer this summer. All worked fine even though they gave me a list of things needing attention. One of them being the motor mount. They specifically listed it as MOTOR-MOUNT RIGHT-LOWER. Now of late, I've had major vibration coing from the car when it's idling, in DRIVE and REVERSE. The vibration it seems is geting worse by the week.Which motor mount is this, where isit located and what about the other motor mounts I keep reading about?Am confused!!!!Is there any advice you can give me and any DIY tips here or anywhere? Also if that's the main cause, any parts store you'd recommend? Any help here ASAP would be appreciated. Thank you.

The right side mount is under the crank pulley.
That is the main one that goes bad.

Also the upper mount goes bad. Top of engine.

Check in the general section for "Links to sites" for parts.

Tech, are these mounts easily accessible and how complex is this job? Am thinking I could tackle it provided I get the parts and if it's not too difficult todo. Is there a step bystep anywhere on this site?

They are easy to replace.
The right one you will have to jack up and remove the r/f wheel. Then fold the inner wheel well up.
There is 2 14MM screws going into the engine.
There is 2 17MM screws going into the subframe.

Then jack up the engine some and swap out the mount.

The upper one buy a urethane replacement and install.
They are 2 half pieces that get installed in the bracket.

*note:I just went out to the car and located the upper mount. Question...does the engine need to be tilted back some or jacked as well to get the mount off or can it be swapped outfairly easily with the engine intact?
Thanks Tech, I'll keep you posted on what will happen. Merry Christmas and here's to a another year of problems and possible solutions...I drink a beerto this!
Peace!!!!!
