99 S70 auto tranny vibration
Hi all,
I'm new here, this is my first post, thanks for having me!
I have a '99 S70 turbo sedan with 117,500 miles on it, I drove it tonight for the first time in a while (my wife usually gets to drive it!) and I noticed a shudder type vibration when the car gently accelerated through 2nd gear while driving it on city streets.
Any ideas what this could be? I'm concerned about the health of the auto tranny, how long do these usually last? Is there a way to freshen them short of a total rebuild? We had an 850 turbo before the S70, and the auto tranny was rock solid in that car.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Hi Moose and welcome to the site.
Should be the same tranny situation. Check your mounts. Likely you have a blown front engine mount and the car is riding on the bottom of the mount.
Motor mount, right side, Volvo S70, replacement instructions
