Hi I been having a lot of trouble with my Volvo lately . I have a 2000 Volvo s70 with 200000 miles and was driving perfectly. Since I had bought it about 7 months ago it came with an ETS light on but no check engine light. It would run fine never had a problem. The service light would sometimes come on aswell but as I drove it would turn off. Last morning I was driving it perfectly fine and when I came back into the car and tried to start it it would crank but no start! I let it sit for a min or two and tried a few more time but no start after a few hours it started again but while running powered out and **** off ! Now it doesn’t start but cranks still battery is fine has a half a tank of gas and all lights are working inside the car ! Gives me a p1670 code aswell but don’t know if that’s the problem CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ! Before I take it in or get rid of it . Thanks .

 

With an ETS light on you may have a bad throttle module. Are you familiar with the all fail at some point throttle modules used in most of the 1999 - 2001 Volvos?
