I never have liked the fact that the radio antenna goes up and down every single time I turn on the car stereo, even if I want to listen to a CD or my mp3 player. So I have installed an antenna switch like the VOLVO 960 have. Here is a video to show how I installed an antenna switch in the Volvo S70. Rumor has it that the dealer can get a kit to do the same thing.

I seen a 2000 C70 with a switch already installed. So, check any Volvo you can for the right switch.
