I scanned a S70 the other day and it come up with a code P0335, crank sensor signal. It made the car stall and run rough but the lady did get home. So I order a crank sensor and changed it. Took about 15 minutes. Here's the video:

 

Still having problems with this car. Cruising along at 60 - 65 mph and out of nowhere it just hiccups. Kinda bogs down for a second, then back to normal. Every once in a while it tosses a misfire code and sometimes the cam code.

'98 S70 NA, early, 170,000 miles. No mods.

Replaced with new parts:
- Cam sensor oem from FCP.
- Spark plugs oem.
- Distributor cap, Bosch.
- Rotor, Bosch.
- Wires are dated '08.

Other things done:
- Remove and installed the ECU about 5 times.
- Timing belt less than 1,000 miles ago.
- PCV system done about 3,000 miles ago.

About to:
- Change fuel filter.
- Run fuel injector cleaner.

Any input will be appreciated.

 

Possible MAF sensor? - can test one from another vehicle to be certain if available
