Default Volvo s70 swap

Greetings, I recently thought of getting a 1994 volvo 850 glt (b5234T), the car is very beat up but the engine is supposedly in good condition.. I would like to put this engine in a 1998 s70 I have with a blown engine (also the 2.3; b5234T3). What work has to be done for the car to run fine??

you can look at the "volvo modular engine" wiki page to see if there's some extra details on the differences but I'd think a long block from an 850T will work in a 98 S70 T5. I believe the two differences are the 850 uses the 4.3 Motronic and the 98 S70 uses the 4.4. The 850T also used a 15G turbo and the S70 may have a 16T so as long as you use all bolt ons from the S70 (manifolds/turbos etc) it should work. Also note the 850 GLT was an NA engine not the 5234T found on the T5s.
