Default Washer Fluid and acceleration

So my windshield washer fluid idiot light keeps coming on when I accelerate. Is this a problem? Why would it only be coming on only when I accelerate? I know the fluid is low and I just put a little bit in what was left in the bottle in the garage which wasn't very much at all.

Thanks

Is the acceleration causing the fluid to slosh to the rear of the reservoir with the sensor near the front of it? That would be my guess.

Yeah but it doesn't do that when the fluid is full.

It wouldn't if it was full, because the sensor would always be covered...

Here's what I'm picturing with the black dots signifying the sensor position.

What he said... When the tank is low, the fluid is too low to float the sensor on acceleration. When it's got more fluid in it, the level at the sensor doesn't go down enough to lower the float.
