Default Water on Drivers Side Floorboard

I checked the door drains, sunroof and the 2 openings on the cowl by the fusebox. Nothing so far. If anyone has any ideas, please advise.

Also looking for a good replacement antenna that lets me keep the black mount that goes on the outside.

Thanks

Does it smell like coolant? ie: Heater Core leak

Does it only happen when it rains?

That is what I was thinking too.....heater core. Outside of that I would check the windshield seal. You could dry it out, pour water down the sunroof drains and see if it leaks....

No, not the heater core, it's when it rains.....

Also getting heavy vibration on highway exit turns going about 40 mph (recently changed tires). Tie rod ends?

Could it be coming from the AC evaporator in the bottom/center of the dashboard?

First and foremost, check the lug bolts to make sure they are tight. Then, if still vibrating, swap the tires front to rear. If that does not do anything positive, then start checking the fron and rear suspension components

Thank you for the vibration tips. As far as the wet floorboard I guess the only thing I have not checked is the windshield seal. Should I be sealing up top where the windshield meets the roof or down the side?

Others may chime in as I am no expert, but what I would do if you suspect the windshield seal is this. Pour water down each side of the windshield, starting at the bottom, and check for water leaking. If it is good on the bottom move on to each side one at a time, checking for water each time. Finish at the top, that should tell you if it is the windshield leaking and where. Is the leak a static leak i,e if the car is sitting overnight and it rains do you find water, or is it only if the car is being driven?

Should I be sealing up top where the windshield meets the roof or down the side of the windshield, where that water barrier thingy is?

I found the leak. It's in an unexpected area. It's under the fuse box under the hood on the driver's side. That's a project for another weekend. Windshield snow cover in the meantime to keep the rain out. Thanks all.

Glad you found it. Thanks for letting us all know in case others encounter the same issue

Yes. There is a huge hole there clean through the cowl, and I get leaves down in there stopping up everything very often. I am really careful to keep that stuff cleaned out for that reason. It really doesn't appear that anybody had a serious idea of how to keep water from going down through that huge hole.
