My 93 (K Reg) Volvo 940 SE Turbo has recently decided to give me an uncontrolable speedo. Some days it will work OK, others (especially when its when wet and damp) it goes ape.Syptoms are....goes upto 50mph then goes awire, needle flicking up and down like a Bishops finger,then it may go back to `0` and stop there. Other days, will not work at all.Turn car off,restart and seems to work OK. Has anyone ever suffered similar circumstances, and can anyone advise if the speedo on this model is electronic or cable?
Its got so hit and miss working wish its difficult to trust !!
