Where is Cabin filter located on a S70
I have a 1998 S70, mine was on passenger side engine compartment, near right strut tower. You have to take off wiper arms, hoses, and five or six screws to take off the cowl. You should be able to get to it after that, have fun.
um,yes its under the plastic cowl on the passenger side.
but u do NOT need to remove the wiper arms.
all u have to do is take the torx screws off {5,i think} and slide that plastic cowl down just enough {down past the lip of the "stripping" around thewindsheild}theto lift that one side of the cowl up just enough to access the filter.
its so SUPER easy to replace that filter.just did mine last week.
it snaps into the filter box.
lift up and backon the tab in the front of the filter{built into the filter}and pull it up and out to release the tabs in the rear.
i am assuming your car hasthe oem filter.
most aftermarket ones dont have the tabs and "snap tabs".

Got it, wow was that thing clogged just as I had thought it would be. Condensation was building up inside of cabin because there was no air flow. This thing was full of debris and mold was forming. Napa wants $22.00 any where cheaper?
