So one day I tilted the sunroof up and it never sat back down right again. I think that it didnt align right because it still tilts up a little bit but not all the way before it starts clicking and will not go back to open at all. I took the sunroof off from the outside and took a look and the metal arms look all out of wack. I was thinking about just replacing the sunroof assembly all together. That is where I need help at, i need to know how to take the headliner off, remove the old assembly, put the new one in, and finally put the headliner back on. any adivce is greatly appreciated, if I dont have to replace the assembly it would help out a lot.

I believe the sunroof has what they call selector guides. It may be easier replacing those. Also, drop the motor and see if an adjustment will help.
