Default 04' S80 T6 Hard Starting

I have an S80 T6 that has had starting problems for over 8 months. Just got the car back from a Volvo dealer who replaced the fuel pump and pcv hose under warranty recall. Their diagnostic equipment said I needed to replace the cam timing sensor. They wanted almost $500 to replace it. I replaced it with an Airtex brand cam timing sensor. The car is worse than ever especially when warm. Up to this point, over the last 8 months I have had the throttle body replaced-car ran ok until it got cold last fall-would not start at all, at any temp. below 20 degrees F. I parked thje car until just a few weeks ago. The crank position sensor, fuel pressure regulator along the fuel rail, mass air meter, MAP sensor, coolant temp sensor, along with new spark plugs have all been recently replaced. The only other thing wrong with the car is that about a year ago, while on a road trip no where near a Volvo shop, the RF strut bearing broke. A local shop replaced the bearing, however they cut the wires to the strut (4C suspension), and the ABS wires). Is there any way these cut wires could be causing the starting problem-nothing shows up on VIDA, and the car runs great once it starts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would get your self a multimeter and start testing the battery(12volts) and wires that were cut.
The cut wires could have a ground wire that was severed witch would cause the CEM to operate abnormal. The abs wires run directly to (C)entral (E)lectric (M)odule. Test the cut wires for power drain, proper voltage. See if you can connect them up to their proper places. I would fix the wires first i have had major faults with my s80 because of 1 small wire and a cold solder point.
Do some simple internet research on how to test wires, ground wire faults and open wire connections...... Get familiar with the multimeter and you can fix anything electrical trust me its a huge bonus!!!!

Your battery should read over 12 volts at all times running or not running.
Test the battery before starting it should read 12volts and up
Bad batteries do not always show up as faults on VADIS
