Car was fine, changed battery, and all of a sudden, crank no start, been trying to figure it out for a month!! Please Help!!! 07 s80 V8 Crank no start, replaced crank senor and checked all grounds and no dice, all OEM parts, cam sensors are new as well, spark and fuel are good. No codes popping up. Really dont want to have it towed to my independent if its something I can help, so please, if you have had the same issue or have any suggestions they are more than appreciated!

...kinda sounds like an immobilizer problem, maybe.

 

quick way to reset the immobilizer on many Volvos is to lock/unlock the doors 5x with the fob or door key. How did you verify spark and fuel? Did you check fuel pressure? You can try priming the pump by jumpering the relay, but I'd expect something between 40 and 55 PSI. Read up on PEM failures too. Have you inspected the timing belt and valve timing? Check fuses and relays (you may need a wiring diagram on which to look at) for the pump, injectors, ECU, sensors etc.

 

...the other thing is, do you have a VIDA/DiCE setup? Using it you could tell if your problem actually is one of the car's computers or some such.
