1998 Volvo S80 T6 - Oil Leak where the %^%$ is it
My 1998/99 Volvo S80 T6 has an annoying oil leak that I can't find. When I originally bought the car ([sm=bs.gif] ) it had an oil leak that occurred a week later. It was found that the breather box was leaking and this has to be cleaned out / replaced. Now I have another oil leak that is persistant in it's nature and have no idea if it's the same part of something different this time.
Giving a description of the fault, I can drive the car from point A to point B. On some occasions after the car has been parked there for a day (i.e. while I am at work) I notice that there is a puddle of wet oil underneath my car. This puddle is evidentally from my car as the parking spot(s) I use have old oil drips here and there but have since "dried" up.
The puddle is about a rulers length wide by about a 1/2 a ruler's length long. It primarily appears on the drivers side of the car (note this is right-hand drive car as I am in Australia) about 10-12 cm in from where the driver's wheel would sit. It never leaks anywhere else except for around there, so I know it's on that side of the engine.
As a result the undertray gets really oily as it is leaking this oil from somewhere. Any ideas?
