So i bought myself a 1999 Volvo s80 t6 with 130k. Cant find to much online for it other than some parts from sweden lol. I was wondering if anyone knew of any performance upgrades i can do like bigger turbos, even bigger single turbo, exhaust, chips, tuners, etc.? Also if anyone knew any anywhere to find some body kits for it too.

Pleased with the car stock just want a little more zip in it haha.

i am also modding my s80 i did a knn cone filter on it..i may deleate that cat and muffler

 

Do you know of any HP gain with the new cone filter? iv read a lot about them and the stock intake seems to be the best. but there is one aftermarket one out there i found but idk if it will really add anything.

yes big improvement with the cone filter..You can hear the bov..also my next step is gonna be exhaust im gonna delete the cat and resonator and muffler and run a glasspack in between the piping soo its not so loud.

 

Well there is a pretty nice intake system online for about 250 bucks. might invest in that then probably go with a exhaust form a local shop. Any suggestions on tubing size? and wouldn't just the glasspack make your car louder...a lot louder cause that's kinda the point of a glasspack.

Also has anyone bought the tuner and used it in their s80? if so hows the overall performance after tune because they always give you a HP gain estimate but i doubt ever true results.

And i still havent been able to find a body kit unless its a custom one shipped overseas...thinking about buying a old front bumper and doing a little cutting. and maybe taking out the stock grill and custom making a mesh one because iv seen a few online like this...any opinions?

 

If you want a lot of aftermarket support, you bought the wrong car. There seriously is not much on the market for these cars, unfortunately.

 

get 2 1/2 piping also gonna get my car tunned my car is putting out 15lbs of boost and it runs great its fast..people talk alot of crap on the s80 but in reality every car has its own problems..all i know is that i havent had any problems with mine..gonna do an aftermarket inter-cooler and a trans cooler 2..im gonna do the same style exhaust as you and take it to a muffler shop..also send me a link if u find any performance parts out there thanks.

 

Yeah, i dont understand why there isnt any aftermarket support. Yeah there trannys are a little weak...thats why they make parts to make them better, like any other performance part. And as to the electrical issues, it wouldnt be hard to fix if they werent so greedy and would make a simple handheld code tool for all the computers it has lol.

And i know a few sites where you can get a tuner, intake and some other little things for it. and how are you pushing so much boost? turbo swap?

 

this site seems to have the most for anything you could possibly find out there for an s80.
And fernando iv been thinkin about doing a custom front bumper, if i fab one and send you a pic would you be interested in owning one yourself? i think this car would look sick with a body kit.

not to sure about the plugs and wires, but as for the boost your best bet is to spend 800-1000 to buy one of the tuners out there. look up IPD, viva performance, or bsr. they seem to have the best stuff out there as far as volvo tuning.
