Hi, please help I bought two s80 a 2000 and a 2001 for parts. Okay this is what I have the 2000 when I got it the problem was trans problem and the driver seat and pass side window does not work. I rebuilt the transmission can runs great but now I am trying to fix the seat and the window so I need someone that can help me on this. As for the window I did find the pass side window switch is no good there is a broken clip inside the switch, I bought a used switch and tried it still did not work. I do have power going to the switch and i can make the window motor work by jumping the wire to the motor. Now the driver seat works for about a few minutes then it will not work but if I reset the battery it will work again but only for a few minutes. Does anyone know if i have to reprogram the switch and the seat? does anyone use this scanner called VIDA and does it program ECM PDM and any other modules on this car.Or can I just swap all the working parts that i need off the 2001? thanks for the help.
