2000 S80 Exterior Door Handle Link Rod
Hi All,
The front passenger side door can only be opened from the inside; the exterior handle will not open the door.
I removed the interior door panel and noted that the link rod from the exterior door handle to the lock/actuator was disconnected on the lock/actuator side.
I do not know how this threaded end on the linkage gets attached to the lock/actuator. I understand *where* it attaches to open the door, but I do not see *how* the threaded link and lock/actuator should be attached.
Is there some special clip that interfaces the threaded link to the oddly-shaped metal piece on the lock/actuator?
I have looked at photos of new door handles and new locks, but I do not see anything except the threaded rod and the oddly-shaped metal piece on the lock/actuator.
In the photo below, thumb is pointing toward oddly-shaped metal piece.
Any help is welcome; thanks in advance!

Thanks EST6. I found that out this afternoon.
Attached is a picture of how the link should be attached to the actuator/lock lever. I bent the clip back into place. Time will tell if it will stay attached.
