Hello everyone,

I have a Volvo 2000 S80 that I have sunk quite a bit of money into at this point. I have an independent mechanic working on the car and has stated the car is in immobilizer mode.

Here is what has been replaced:
1) Battery
2) Timing Belt
3) Water Pump
4) Alternator
5) Heater Core

Any reason why this car would be in immobilizer mode and what is the best and quickest way to get out?

Trying to resolve this issue with as little time and money as possible. Thanks
