So I had this problem before and replaced the electric control throttle. Problem fixed. Ordered a used used one. Said for 99 thru 02. Great what my car uses. Does not fix problem
here is thing tho, when hookup the old one reads as electric control throttle, new /used one > just got reads as electric control module. Can this be scewing it up?
and yes it is excatly same part.
need some input please at wits ends. NOTHING comes up code wise at all, not even when it acts up.

 

Throttle modules are coded to VIN numbers. To install a new (or remanufactured one) generally requires a software download (if new) or reprogramming by a company such as Xemodex.

I have heard of used ones working for some - perhaps same part number or something.

 

Hi I have replaced the throttle body and have got that to run which I though we where good to go. i discounted the battery for a week and then Friday reconnected. however i now have another problem on my hands. So it will get up and run like a champ but at stop it idles rough. Jerky almost like it wants to shut off reminds me like old tractor running lol. Get on the gas and go we are good stop and idles rough again. Though I had figured it out placed my hand around the throttle body and it settled down a little so I made a new gasket cause ordered a factory replacement (but that will take 10 days ) though the made one would do the trick for now. NOPE still have the problem

At this point following has been done.
replaced all spark plugs
checked all coil packs
cleaned the throttle body flap
cleaned MAF in the air box

PLEASE HELP ME THINK I AM LOSING MY MIND>
