Hi I am Chet, new to forums. I am an auto mechanic who is working on a Volvo s80 2.9 that will not crank, had a bad CEM it was rebuilt. It brought other functions back to life but still no crank. No power to starter solenoid in crank position, battery is good, has power to starter battery cable. All fuses good. But it appears to have an open circuit, when you hit crank you can hear only relays click in CEM but that’s all. Also windshield wipers do not work, no high beams, dash gear selector stays on “P” when shifter is moved like to drive position. I am looking for some insight for more places to look. I am the second mechanic to work on this car, other guy had no success.
Has anyone had this issue? Thank you for your time and help.
